Cayman Airways A319-100 (F) *Unofficial*

In response to Aharon's request and partly for Joseph's birthday :) I have painted the excellent Project Airbus A319-100 in both Pax. and Cargo configuration.
If anyone wants, I can do the IFDG A319 too because that was what Aharon initially asked for but I don't have it so I did the PAirbus one instead (which I think is better.)
I haven't got any decent screenshots yet, just these two from FS Repaint. (Ignore the messed up engines!) I hope you like it!

I said ignore the engines! :)

It is the program FS Repaint, it makes some bits like engine cowlings, cargo doors and nose wheels semi-transparent so the black bit you are seeing is the interior of the engine and the white is the outside. In the sim it will not be there. thumbup I must get some screenshots soon unless someone else can quickly.

why is the tail crest all up and out of the tail? You need to shrink the crest man to get it to fit on

perfect cargo paint!!!

Whether the paint on the engines was accidental or intentional, the paint gives great menacing and imposing Formula 1 automobile racing look!!!!! Imagine how it looks if it is in green instead of black!!! That would look great. I like the idea of racing stripes on your engines because it gives clear message that Cayman Airways virtual airline's cargo division can do express next day delivery service!!!

Major update:

It was brought to my attention that some parts were appearing as black, this is now fixed (I mixed up DXT3 and 32-Bit textures!) and I have re-done the tail logo (Thanks for pointing it out William! thumbup) I have also added thumbnails for the FSX Aircraft menu.

Looking better Guy. You just need to now get the Tail working the right way and not use the mirror so you dont have the tails of the lion on each side.

Where is Cayman Cargo??? You have been the director of Cargo Divisions now for a while and i havent seen any cargo flights. Is there a hold up somewhere??

William, I haven't got a photo of the lion's face, just the backside so that is why it isn't there. I won't use the Coat of Arms that is on the Cayman Gov'ts page because the colours are all wrong. If you can find a large, hi-res pic of the lion on the tail then please can you send it to me and I will fix ALL of my paints! thumbup

I think the 'hold-up' with the Cargo Division is partly due to trying to get the Events Division up and running first. I hope Cargo comes next!

Wikipedia have a good one (at least it looks good).
A simple search in google for "Cayman Islands Coat Of Arms" and then go to images shows a lot.

The images available online all seem to be either too small, the wrong colours, or just not accurate compared to the real tail.
