Cayman Airways Virtual has been in operation for 9 months today! We begun flying last year, July 6th, the VA started small, on a free hosting site, with a "re-branding" in February this year, we moved to a brand new website, upgraded all our systems and unfortunately had to start from the ground up. However, we have more pilots now in these 2 months with the new site, then we ever had with our old site.

Leasing agreement from American Airlines
In a recent meeting held in Miami, Florida, the CEO of American Airlines, Mr. Jamil Martis, and the CEO of Cayman Airways Virtual Mr. Jonathan Schutte both met up to discuss the leasing of a B777-200 from the American fleet, to be used on a few routes for CAY. Mr. Jamil Martis agreed to let us do so, after we signed the following contract, and had a few beers.

Looking Ahead

Cayman Virtual has plans to retire one of it's two 737-200's. We plan to introduce new aircraft to the fleet within the following months, as well as a potential new hub abroad to open countless new destinations, making us a "small" airline on a truly "global" scale.
