Shalom all my pals,

I have no problem flying 777-200LRs. However, I have found that those planes are heavy memory or video ram memory resources drain.

I do not know if it is as result of three superb high quality texture paints (200 mb each) by Jon, one superb paint (240 mb) by Guy, and one great texture (32mb) by Mike (CAY666) OR high memory resource hogging virtual cockpit.

When I fly on VAFS3 without Vatsim and SB4, the airports, ground textures and clouds look normal except on nights or early morning they are fuzzy. When flying with Vatsim and SB4 requiring more memory resources, clouds sometime are in "square" shapes and ground textures are very fuzzy.

So would any programming genius please tell me how I can modify 777-200LRs to fly WITHOUT VC? I do not need VCs so that I can make groudn textures, clouds, and airports crisp sharp. I am guessing the procedure is to modify aircraft.cfg to remove virtual cockpit AND change panel stuff.

OR will any talented painter can paint Cayman Airways and FLYCAY textures that do not require too much memory resources?? Maybe simple light environment green will solve this problem???

Because Cayman Airways virtual airline is planning to phase out A330-200RR (I hope it is not true) which will leave me without any jumbo jets for Caribbean flying pleasure, I think it is important for me to solve the 777-200LR problem

Thanks,

Aharon

Aharon, I haven't made a 777 paint, I just told you how to use Jon's other one!

You can download the non-VC model from here: http://www.projectopensky.com/downloads.php?aircraft=842ytv5p8&location=modelpackage

It is the one called 'SP2A>LR (OS772LRV2)' fourth one down from the top.

Guy is right. It was Jon's Cayman Airways texture that Guy was kind to convert to normal files for me!!!!!

Apologies to Jon and thanks Guy for not only correcting my error but also for his suggestion to use non VC 777-200LR although I do not think it will work because non VC 777's panel is not FSX compatible.

Looks like I am back to square one although I am continuing flying Jon's newest 777-200LRs.

Aharon
