I have just purchased the 737 from wilco and it looks amazing. However, whenver I want to use the FMC to make a flight plan, I can plug in all the details but the route does not show on my EFIS. I have checked my position on the FMC and it is correct. If anyone can help me, please pst here or PM me. I will put a picture of what I'm on about here:

As you can see from the image I have started to input my legs, (from KMIA in this case) and nothing is appearing on the EFIS, not even KMIA itself.

Did you activate it?

Press the button next to ACTIVATE then press the "Exec" button.

Anyways, when you go to pick your SIDs, they should show up as white dotted lines on your EFIS before you activate them.

And I don't think you would see MNATE on your EFIS if you are pointed east.

Make sure to start at the RTE page first, fill everything out, then go to the DEPARR section, and pick your SIDS and STARS for each airport. Make sure you pick a SID for KMIA, a STAR for your destination, then activate it. Then in the LEGS page, put in all the legs you have in your flight. Then, remove all discontinuities and activate it.

That's somewhat how I do it with the CS757. I could be forgetting something because I don't have it right in front of me. :P

I did activate it but it didn't show up. Your point on me facing East might be a factor and therefore I wouldn't be able to see it so thanks Pierre I'll give it a go :D

I think I've fixed the problem now. The problem was that my IRS said it was where I should be but in fact it wasn't so now I've set it correctly and now I can see KMIA on my screen and my flight plan. Many thanks for feedback Pierre!.cheers

Nice Fix Job,

Yes, that is a tricky little detail with all these FMC's, including the ATR, 733 and Embraers, you have to set the origin and destination prior to inputing waypoints and airways or it has no point of origin. Lots of cool little things you can do with that FMC, hop on TeamSpeak one night and we can do a shared cockpit flight.

Ken.
