Will you make patch that will make your airport sceneries compatible with FSX for users who do not want to use SP1 and SP2??

What the hell is wrong with downloading SP1 and SP2. They only help to enhance FSX doh

Not at present, we haven't planned that nor thinking on planning.

Ok Ricardo,
Did your programmers or beta testers ever test any of your airport sceneries on FSX without SP 1 and SP2 to see if they work well?

William,
I am fool????
Only fool such as you would say that.
Why??
If I use SP1 and SP2, it would render all great freeware 2004 airport sceneries totally useless especially my very important freeware 2004 LLBG scenery and all of those sceneries work well in FSX. I am not going to throw out all great add on sceneries for SP1 and SP2.
I did once tested SP1 and SP2 on my laptops out of curiosity for my own amusement to test Microsoft's claims that FSX would run faster and to test claims by PC PILOT and COMPUTER PILOT magazines that FSX default sceneries would look better in SP1 and SP2.
My own tests showed NO evidence of faster FSX. Actually little slower on contrary to Microsoft's claims. Also, my own tests showed NO evidence of sharper FSX default ground textures.
So I threw out SP1 and SP2 and brought all great freeware 2004 airport sceneries back into my FSX.
And as for Windows updates, duh duh duh of course I update Windows better than you take care of your 2,000 aviation book collection.
oh opps, you need to buy 1,000 computer books to understand why I do not want SP1 and SP2 for my FSX.

Ricardo,
Thank you for confirming that your programmers already tested your sceneries using FSX without SP1 and SP2.
Once again, thank you for taking your time off your busy schedule to answer my questions.

Aharon come on mate. No where did William call you a fool, you've blown his statement out of proportion. It's common sense, Microsoft released SP1 and SP2 to improve FSX, which it did for over 90% of the community which is evident on any forum that you go to. If you choose to not use the updates because you want to use a freeware FS2004 scenery in your FSX, then that is your decision. However, as it says in the requirements, SP1 and SP2 are required, you will more then likely see this across the board of scenery developers and aircraft designers as it simply makes sense for them to accomodate those users who have taken the iniative to improve their simming experience.
I myself have noticed an improvement of over 20 frames with SP1 and SP2 installed, and FSX as a whole is a much more stable simulation then it was before. Bottom line is, I seriously doubt that developers would make a patch to make their sceneries useable for less then 10% of the FSX community.

Jon,
maybe SP1 and SP2 works for desktop computers but not for laptops.
So far I saw no evidence of SP1/SP2 improvement on my laptop.

Lets ask Sam and William, I know both use FSX on laptops with all updates and have seen improvements.

My Laptop is performing a lot better now with SP1 and SP2! It fixes a lot of bad code that were left in the origional release.
However i have a solution for you then.
If you want to use all these fanatastic FS2004 products and mostly all your aircraft are FS2004 imports to FSX......
Why not fly FS2004!?!!??!?!?!
Simplest solution to all your worries.
You must be the only person who seems to be haitng the SP's. I have never heard of a loss of frames due to the programming. They fixed everyones issues with performance (apart from your attempts)
Also Programming is Programming, the code remains the same for any hard drive disk it is installed in and the software wont know what kind of system it is installed on.
Centrino cores work. Duel Cores Work, Pentium work! Maybe the computer is not properly able to run FSX at your required specs. FS2004!
But seriously, FS2004! A cheap grab now from any online store

Jon,
that depends what kind of laptops they are using.
I am using centrino core laptop which is NOT classified as desktop laptops with pentium chips and better architecture that are more powerful than my laptop.
There is difference between gaming laptop and regular laptop. I am using regular laptop.

William,
Thanks for FS2004 suggestion.
I am happy with FSX without SP1 and SP2.
It is no tragic if I cannot use some FSX sceneries that require SP1 and SP2. It is not end of world.

Unless your laptop is EPICLY slow, Using the Service packs shouldn't make much of a difference performance wise. What is your processor speed? Also what video card do you have. And you DON'T need a gaming laptop to run Flight Simulator. It is highly recommended to run FSX on a gaming laptop but it's your preference It may run like a slideshow on your laptop as I have seen in your videos and, honestly Aharon, the best thing for you would be to go back to FS9. I think it would make things 10 times easier for you. Or upgrade your laptop.

Romario,
Looking at my youtube videos is misleading because when I am flying on FSX, everything is very smooth and comfortable. Why FRAPS is not doing same thing is beyond my comprehension. Fraps tech support thinks it is Fraps or Windows Movie Maker, not my laptop or FSX that is showing misleading impression on videos that my FSX is slow.
My FSX is pretty smooth and fast even with vatsim, VAFS4, and squawkbox.
People tell me that if I use Sony Vegas 9, it will eliminate misconception that my FSX is crawling slow.
As for my laptop's configurations, it is HP Pavilion DV6885E Special Edition laptop with T8100 Centrino Duo Core 2.10 GHZ with 3 GB ram, 250 GB, 256 dedicated mb NVIDIA GeForce 8400 M GS, 1248x800 resolution, and Vista Premium as well as 5,400 rpm 320 GB hard drive.

The frames in the videos are very slow, the counter shows that the frames are very slow, therefore they have to be very slow?

Aharon, why are you asking for a patch for a payware scenery anyway? It would be very unlike you to actually BUY a payware addon!
If you have decided you are going to buy it then why don't you buy the FS9 version? If you aren't installing SP1 and SP2 because you want to keep you FS9 sceneries then just get the FS9 version of this one!
Also, as the others have said you are a complete fool to not be using SP1+2. I have a laptop too and I have the service packs via FSX Acceleration and without them it would be unplayable on my laptop!
