Shalom and greetings all my pals,

I got a good idea for liveries of CayCargo and Cayman Airways virtual airline. Why not make for 757-200F and 777-200LR a special livery in honor of Vancouver Olympics 2010? The 757-200F which has plenty of space on both sides of the plane should have Olympic livery plus words "Official Caribbean Cargo Service for Vancouver Olympics 2010" and the 777 should have Olympic livery plus words "Official Caribbean Airline for Vancouver Olympics 2010"

Good idea for special livery? Olympics only come once every four years!!!

So??? I am aware of Air Canada's special livery which has nothing to do with my suggestion.

Many airlines do have Vancouver 2010 Olympics logos on their planes to signify being official carriers of their countries' athletes from their countries to any Olympics.

Hence why not Cayman Airways virtual having cool Olympics livery too since it has service to Vancouver?

Soooo... Air Canada is the official airline of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. You can't have a two official airlines. Plus what has a Caribbean airline got to do with WINTER Olympics ermm

I'm going to have to agree with Liam; An airline from the Cayman Islands has nothing to do with winter olympics in Vancouver.

What about the olympics in Rio de Janeiro? Just a thought.

Ok For passenger service, I am sure there are lots of Caribbean people from Caribbean islands wanting to attend games in Vancouver Olympics. Also, there will be lots of press, tv, and radio people from Caribbean going to Vancouver to cover the games. That include Spanish language media people from Puerto Rico!!!

As for cargo service, lots of famous liquors from Caribbean islands will be heading to Vancouver for partying. Also lots of coffee from Jamaica and Costa Rica will be heading to Vancouver for breakfasts!!!!

That spells revenues for Cayman Airways virtual airline!!!

In real life, many airlines have nothing to do with Olympics but they usually put Olympic logos or cool designs to celebrate Olympics and to fly athletes, media, and game attendees to Olympics. Israel never had Olympics but they always painted cool Olympic liveries on its airlines' planes for every Summer Olympics every 4 years.

If we were to add a logo of some sort, at this point in time it would make sense to put it on an AmeriCay E145 or 170. Why? These are the only aircraft in our fleet that actually service Vancouver. Why put a logo or special livery on a B777 when they don't even fly to Vancouver is the point.

I do not see an issue with adding a small logo to the E145, I will look in to doing this. We are also discussing which routes to be added for the winter season, these new routes will be introduced in the coming weeks. Some good thing ahead for the B777 for a change, as well as the rest of course. Look out for specials and more!

Jon,

Yes good idea for logos for E170s but what about Olympic charter services via temporary routes when everybody is in Olympics excitement mood? You have major virtual cities in America that will have good temporary routes to Vancouver. It is not uncommon for real life airline to shift its planes with its liveries intact to its subsidiaries for temporary use to meet heavy demands for special events or seasons.

Why 777s? Lots of people (like I mentioned before) are going to Olympics:):):):) Hence 777s' many seats plus heavy luggages for 2 weeks of stay there.

Remember Olympics comes only once every 4 years and it will be cool for your pilots to have and own a nice and rare Olympics livery.

I completely agree with Jon. A little logo on the side of the Americay planes would look quite good. But i think Aharon is taking the winter Olympics completely out of proportion. The Winter Olympics is never as popular as the summer variation. He thinks the world suddenly has to shift to THE SUPER DUPER AWSOME event. nono

I think adding something to a aircraft (Like a logo of which we had nothing much to do with) isn't needed. As said in a reply before it's Canada so they have it covered. I wouldn't stress over something that is already done by someone else. Sorry for catching on so late.
