I have the freeware morewatr on avsim. Go to miscellaneous files and type in water:)

Nope, strangely it improved my frames and I personally think it's awesome, so it's basically perfect:)

Cool, I'll try em out and tell you how I like it. The default textures get blurry from a distance for me.
