EMB170 Panel

Is anyone using the Projekt EMB170 Team panel? I found it in Flightsim.com and it is a beauty with many features and a working FMC. Only trouble is the manuals are in German.

I found an English version of the main manual but am looking for a translation of the FMC manual.

Yes, it appears to be of slightly limited capability but there is the option to manually load waypoints in lieu of it simply being a GPS viewer for the FS flight plan.

This is why I would like to find an English language translation of the 2 short FMS manuals. I tried discerning pertinent details from the German text but it is Greek to me!

I fly the payware wilco model. Only because a good model with FMS was so hard to find.

I had never heard of this panel before you mentioned it, great find! I Google'd it and the first link that came up was this: English Manual (http://www.iwservice.com/projekt_panel_emb_170_tutorial_engl.pdf)! This might be the one you found but it has a section on the FMS on page 16. However it seems to be FS2004 only, correct?hmmm

Thanks for the information Roger, I too only fly the Payware Wilco model, but it is really excellent to see a decent freeware alternative panel. Do you mind if I add this to our "Must have" list?

That is the manual for the panel itself but in the DOCS folder that comes with the download there is a separate manual for the FMS and I have been unable to find an English translation for that one.

The panel is FS2004 only as far as I know.

It finally dawned on me to do a Google search "German to English" and sure enough, Google has an online translator. I uploaded the PDF of the manual and seconds later had a rough-but understandable- English version of the 5 page FMS instructions.
