The two airplanes were flying the same domestic route. The KLM aircraft was arriving from Amsterdam.

The Incident happened in uncontrolled Boston airspace. Cayman 85 was flying at 36,000 feet, the KLM aircraft at 38,000. Luckily, the pilots were in communication with eachother. The passengers never saw a thing.

The captains on both aircraft promised not to tell anyone.
