Fellow Airmen,

As you all know the Cayman Airways Virtual Events Division has been in search of some fine Event Coordinators to continue coordinating, posting, and hosting our weekly events.
Emails have been sent out to all member of FlyCay and unfortunately we’ve gotten no reply.

Suddenly Cayman Virtual Events Division became of interest to three pilots who wish to take up the responsibility of being an Events Coordinator, join me in congratulating our new Events Coordinator, and our Event Coordination Assistant, as well as the entire Events Team:

CAY029- Pierre (Senior Events Coordinator):

Pierre is a Senior Captain here at FlyCay, and has been with us just over two years now. Pierre worked with past coordinators; CAY032- Patrick (Past Director), CAY106- Tyler, and our CEO CAY102- Jon, in coordinating events. Pierre has major experience in coordinating events and can create new with an enticing new theme and graphical designs. Unfortunately, Pierre has been on a Leave of Absence for over four months now to organise his next level of academics. We should expect to see Pierre back on the team just after coming September.

CAY1270- Shane (Events Coordinator):

Shane is a Captain here at FlyCay, and has been with us just over two months now. Shane was with Cayman Virtual before, and managed to stay with FlyCay for four months. Just over three of these four months that Shane was here in the past he was the Event Division’s most valuable asset to the team, making sure all events were posted on time, and in order!

CAY1273- Shane (Events Coordination Assistant):

Shane is a First Officer here at FlyCay, and has been with us just over a month now. Shane shows a keen interest in the Events Coordinators Position but unfortunately doesn’t meet requirements to take on the position full time. Shane has been working in liaison with Director of Events (CAY057- Andrew) and Events Coordinator (CAY1270- Shane) to plan FlyCay’s next biggest event. Shane will continue with his flying here at FlyCay to more improve his performance, and attain more hours and experience so that he can then take on the position full time.

CAY1010- Nathan (Events Coordination Assistant):

Nathan was previously introduced to the events team not long ago, and managed to post his first set of events for FlyCay. Nathan is a bright individual who’s always seeking new ways to conquer his set accomplishments in flying, and his life goal of becoming a Real World Cayman Airways Pilot.
Nathan has shown a keen interest in his position so far, and has completed his training and ready to assist all of our standing coordinators; unfortunately Nathan wishes not to advance to the next level due to outside interferences, and wanting to keep his academics as priority.

Responsibilities:

As an Events Coordinator their responsibility is to:

I'd like to apologize about my recent absence. I have been extremely busy lately. I'm loading up on summer classes, including college classes, to get credits to graduate high school early and general college credits as well. I'm also studying for my PPL and am preparing to solo in the next 2 weeks. Some days I have literally no free time, and on the days I do I enjoy it with my friends and sometimes with my family.

The PPL training is ramping up the next two weeks, with a lesson every other day or so, and tons of studying. Then I'll go to Belgium from the 22nd to the 9th. I'll have much more free time from August 10th to the 27th, but I'm planning a possibly vacation, planning to take the checkride and PPL examinations, and planning to prepare for my academic year at college first semester then Costa Rica second semester. I have to get a job within that time frame, working long hours, so I'll still be quite busy.

I'll be off of LOA around mid-late September, then back on LOA late December to early May for my trip.

Just to let you all know.
