since we have the A330 for long haul flights, i believe it makes sense to keep it......... especially of how good the A330 flies :)

Really our funds are too limited to be able to afford another heavy. The A330 performs fantastic in all our long-haul routes and I see no need to get another aircraft to replace it/perform alongside it.

why i ask is cause you can get a dhc twin otter like the real airline and run small flight like 6 a day saves more money then sending the big jets if that is what you do . u see i work for the airline and i know how it works with aircraft routing
we will add the twin otter soon whenever vafs can add it for us to lease it ;)

Joseph, we operate the DHC6 from:
MWCR-MWCL
MWCR-MWCB
MWCL-MWCB
MWCB-MWCB (Circuit training)
MWCB-MWCR
We also operate the 732 from Cayman to the Brac as our real world counterpart does, due to popularity. In the fleet it says we utilize the DHC8-100, however, we fly the DHC6 instead, its simply due to limitations within the program we use to log our flights.
Hope this clears a few things up.

777 would be nice soon the Cayman Airways virtual has enough money to buy one but we have a codeshare with AAL so not really needing a 777.
This may sound weird but if CAY virtual got a 747 that doesn't stick much to the CAY (real world theme) I understand a 757 & a airbus but it sounds a little weird for me, but hey that's my opinion

As of June 6th, our codeshare will be terminated.

oh that sucks
but Jon says that the virtual airline has a lot of money but he has to spend it on fuel and right now is not the time for big aircraft just so yet

Owens Roberts has 7,000 ft runway. You do not need to have full fuel load for 747. Flight from Grand Cayman to London is 4,200 nautical miles. You can take off with 60 percent of fuel and using economical cruise speed, you will consume 42 percent of fuel leaving you with about ten percent of fuel when landing. Allow about 5 percent of fuel consumption for take off and climb to FL350.
the question mark is can the airport handle 747 and does it have space for 747 to park at a gate?
Another idea is to use 747 and take off with 20 percent fuel load to go to KMIA for quick refueling stop and then head to London or anywhere.
Flight from Grand Cayman to KLAX is only 2200 nautical mile meaning you can take off with 40 percent fuel and land there with about 10 percent fuel using economical cruising speed.
747, using economical cruising speed, consumes 10 percent of fuel PER 1,000 nautical miles.
