Unlikely seeing that this is Cayman Airways Virtual, but I thought I'd share with you what 'tough' wink times England has today!

Here are some pics of the view I got when I woke up this morning, amazing. I love snow so much and especially when there is lots of it! Any other Brits on here? Did you have much snow? (Jon, this won't compare much to Calgary but for England it is record breaking!)

Some very nice photographs Guy! Really like them, I heard that Heathrow was closed for a fair amount of the day, can you confirm? Very interesting wheater without a doubt. Gotta love a change though, long live snow! :lol:

For most of the morning LHR was operating on one runway and the only other London area airport open was Luton STN, LCY and LGW were all closed! Later in the afternoon a Cyprus A332 skidded off the taxiway after landing and all BA domestic flights were cancelled. I don't think the whole airport shut down but BA252 from Nassau ended up diverting to Newcastle!

It is supposed to stay cold throughout next week an have a bit more snow, global warming? Yeah right! I hope it snows everyday!

Snow Ball Fight Anyone ..

We had an 800-person (the whole school!!) snowball fight lasting 3 hours on the school golf course!

Great fun but the course is now wrecked, lucky I don't play golf!

Hey Guys.
If you dont know already im from the uk and the snow has been amazing fun. Ive had the last two days off school, which had been awsome and had plenty of snowball fights with m8s. Hopefully we should be getting a lot more on thursady night/friday morning so fingers crossed ill have friday off as well. :)

Wow, what great pictures. We are supposed to get 6-12 inchess today of lake effect snow. If it's going to be cold, it may as well snow.

Where in the UK are you guys? London had nothing today, it's all melting!!!! BBC weather says light snow on thurs/fri as Liam says.
