TJIG and surrounding scenery flickering problem

I'm not sure what is causing this problem, but right at the Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicc Airport, and the surrounding area around the cruise ship docking ports, including the ships, I'm getting a lot of flickering. Ironically, no where else in the area of this scenery am I getting this problem. TJSJ is fine, and so is the rest of the area around San Juan, except at the areas I've mentioned. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this?

I have not had this issue but I can take a look. Make sure that if you have any other add ons in P.R. that they do not conflict. I will do a VFR flight in a little while and see what happens.

    Which version are you using?

I'm using FSX version. The only thing I use besides TJSJ is, FTX Global and Vector. I'm also using Steve's FX10 Scenery Fixer, but that has never been an issue with any of my sceneries before. I also like to use 2048, rather than 4096 texture resolution.

I don't use FTX Global nor Vector. Without those it works for me just fine.

Ricard will be able to help you more than I can.

I understand, but FTX Global and Vector has no ill effect on any of my LatinVFR sceneries, so it can't be that.

    Hi specialist and Ricardo,
I’m also having the same problem. I also have FTX Global and Vector. I noticed the problem after loading Vector. I could be wrong but maybe someone has a solution. When using FTX Global I had no problems with my scenery it did not start until Vector was loaded. It’s not only effecting several of my Latin VFR scenery’s but many others. Last night flying between Santo Domingo and Montego Bay both scenery were doing exactly what you described. I would sure love to find a solution if anyone knows please share.
    Thank you
    Rob

I haven't had a chance to go back and look again, but I did check to see if the FTX Global Vector Configuration Tool had disabled the elevation at this airport, and it was not disabled. I always run the auto configuration after adding a scenery, but I'm thinking I'm going to manually disable vector in the area of TJIG, and see if it makes a difference. I know for sure TJSJ is not disabled, and it's working fine.

    No problem Ricardo,
I will send them via your PM this week. Thank you for looking into it. I still have a feeling its Vector causing the problems. As mentioned the sceneries before vector were very detailed now they are blurry and have shimmering lights or lines throughout the sceneries. I have not checked TJSJ or KMIA yet.
